Holiday Journal Writing: Every one or two days, add an entry to your Holiday Blog telling about your activities, family fun, or thoughts. You can use these ideas for "starters" if you need inspiration: Describe a great fort you built or a great game you played as a child. Describe an event that made you realize you were growing up. Did you ever prove yourself to someone older? Write about a time you performed in front of an audience. Write about a difficult decision you had to make. Write about a time you found out something about yourself. Were you ever locked in or out? What was it like to spend your first night away from home? What was it like to come back home after a long vacation? Did your mom or dad ever make you wear something you hated? Mathematics- "Math Problem of the Week" Solve the following problem and write your result on a piece of paper with the heading of: Name ___________ Division # _______ During Spring Break, you can earn extra money by mowing lawns. It takes an hour to mow 8 lawns. How long will it take you to mow 20 lawns? Bring the answer to school, tomorrow, so it can be submitted to the school "Math Problem of the Week" Contest. Don't forget, Monday, March 4th, we have a walking Field Trip To Frank Hurt from 12:00-2:30. Be sure to let parents and younger sibling know where we are in case we're running late.
